Finance Director – KRUUSE (Covetrus)
Location: Langeskov, Denmark
Are you a strategic finance leader ready to drive transformation and profitable growth across a dynamic, international business? Covetrus is seeking a Finance Director to lead the finance and IT functions for KRUUSE, a leading provider of veterinary products and solutions, headquartered in Langeskov, Denmark.
KRUUSE operates two core business units:
KRUUSE Brand, developing and distributing branded products globally
Nordics, distributing consumables and equipment directly to veterinary clinics and shops
with operations spanning Denmark, Sweden, Norway, UK, Poland, Shanghai, and Hong Kong.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage all finance and IT operations across KRUUSE
Partner with the VP KRUUSE and leadership team to drive strategic transformation and growth
Deliver accurate financial reporting under US GAAP and DK GAAP
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and risk management
Support M&A activities, including due diligence and integration
Ensure compliance with Covetrus policies and local regulations
Lead a high-performing team across finance, analytics, and IT
10+ years of experience in accounting, controlling, and business partnering
Proven success in turnaround environments and multinational settings
Professional accounting qualification (CMA, CA, CPA)
Strong knowledge of US GAAP, DK GAAP, and financial regulatory frameworks
Advanced analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and preferably D365 FO
Experience in distribution or multi-SKU retail; animal health sector a plus
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
