We’re looking for an amazing idea generator and excellent copy-based storyteller, who loves to translate play into communication and campaign concepts. Join Our LEGO® Agency and craft new and future proof innovation platforms that fuel world-class, kids-first product and play experience communication.

This senior writer role is working on some of the biggest global LEGO projects. You’ll help shape the OLA’s creative direction and produce innovative, playful and ambitious work to elevate the LEGO brand and products across the globe.  

How you’ll play your part in our team succeeding:

  • Drive big innovative ideas at brand or franchise level across all forms of media

  • Actively lead in presenting concepts and ideas to key stakeholders and external partners

  • Collaborate across OLA to ensure delivery for campaign milestones

  • push the development of ideas from concept to playbook to execution

  • Inspire the team to believe with compelling storytelling and trusted relationships

  • Possess excellent skills in writing craft and range of tone, with ability to direct others in tone and brand voice

  • Keen eye for detail to push work to a high level of craft

  • Can lead production and ensures conceptual and narrative excellence with clear and helpful feedback to partners

  • Can lead level teams to deliver great work

  • Be an exceptional communicator, with the ability to inspire teams and brand partners alike. 

  • Be an excellent human with a great sense of humor, hard on the work but always kind to the people. 

  • Form close and effective working relationships with the OLA Leadership team, OLA market leads and Senior LEGO Brand and Product Group stakeholders.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Significant advertising experience, as copywriter/writer, concept developer, working with communication and campaign development, brand communication, or similar.
  • Demonstrated experience creating communication ideas and creative platforms for various touchpoints stretching from digital, social, experiential, print and anything in between.
  • Expert in Adobe CS software – light video editing skills a great plus but not mandatory.
  • Proven ability to apply creative thinking and problem solving to overcome challenges and find solutions.
  • Good organization, communication, storytelling, presentation, and relationship management skills
  • Able to own more than one project at once
  • Experience with fast-moving, quick turnover campaigns
