A high-impact Finance Director role leading Australia & New Zealand (ANZ), partnering directly with the ANZ Managing Director to drive commercial performance and ambitious growth target.

Reporting to the APM Vice President of Finance, you’ll be a key member of the leadership team in ANZ and leading a large team. This role offers the opportunity to shape financial strategy, steer business decisions, and lead transformation initiatives that deliver real impact.

What will you be doing?

  • Leading, directing, evaluating and developing a team of managers, experts and finance professionals
  • Coaching and engaging the team in developing future capabilities
  • Driving business performance and decision-making by providing strategic guidance, actionable insights, and recommendations to business stakeholders
  • Developing and supporting the KONE strategy implementation, specifically in customer-facing finance activities such as invoicing, collection and customer financing
  • Contributing to strategic planning at the executive team level helping to drive top-line growth and operational efficiency
  • Proactively identifying opportunities for improvement by collaborating with different functions
  • Supporting business stakeholders to focus and prioritize activities that drive customer value and business performance most
  • Accountable for end-to-end finance processes performance
  • Accountable for complete and accurate financial records
  • Accountable for compliance with local statutory requirements and regulations in areas of financial reporting, treasury, and tax
  • Accountable for ensuring compliancy of internal controls and policies
  • Accountable for efficient and compliant management of financials, specifically in areas of cash flow and accounts receivables
  • Responsible for driving the forecasting and budgeting processes

Are you the one?

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance and a qualified CA/CPA (or equivalent)
  • Experience leading a Finance team in a large, complex organisation
  • Ability to navigate and influence peers and stakeholders through a matrix work environment (local, regional and global)
  • Expertise in Mergers and Acquisitions
  • Exposure to and understanding of Enterprise Agreements
