Job Description

Just imagine shaping the financial performance behind the LEGO® Group’s long-term ambitions across Asia Pacific. Then make it real.

About the role

As our APAC FP&A Finance Director, you'll shape how we plan, measure, and manage financial performance across Asia Pacific. You'll own annual planning, targets, forecasts, long-range planning and transformational projects, connecting commercial ambitions with financial commitments. This permanent role puts you in the driving seat of the decisions that shape revenue, margin, earnings, investment and future growth.

Please note that relocation support is not available for this role.

Required Qualifications

  • Led regional performance management and target setting across revenue, margin and earnings, identifying risks and opportunities and driving resulting actions.
  • Led cross-functional strategic projects, influencing senior stakeholders while working in a matrix environment.
  • Shaped trade and marketing investment choices, embedding effectiveness, productivity and return on investment in resource allocation.
  • Strengthened financial governance and planning accuracy across regional planning and forecasting cycles.
  • Built and presented insight-led financial materials for senior leaders covering planning, forecasts, performance and investment choices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Led financial planning and analysis within a retail or consumer goods business.
  • Used BW, SAP and PowerPoint for financial planning, analysis and leadership materials.
  • Built regional finance capability through adoption of improved financial planning and analysis processes, automation and finance best practices.

What you'll build

  • A solid framework for our strategic 4-year plan, supported by key transformational projects.
  • More effective trade and marketing investment through clearer financial performance measures.
  • Stronger governance and greater accuracy across planning, forecasting and performance management.
  • Progress on transformation, profitability and productivity initiatives across Asia Pacific.
  • Simpler, more standardised financial planning processes and greater use of automation.

If you've owned strategic planning and forecasting cycles and created insight-led materials for senior leaders, you'll feel at home here. Experience influencing commercial and operational choices and improving financial governance will help you make your mark.

Life on the team

You'll join Asia Pacific Finance within the LEGO® Group, helping the region turn commercial plans into clear financial commitments. We work in a hybrid rhythm, with three days each week in the Singapore Hub and Wednesdays together for team meetings. You'll coach the Asia Pacific Financial Planning and Analysis Manager day to day, communicating clearly and working across commercial, operational and finance teams.

What success looks like

You'll balance recurring planning and performance management with shaping the transformation, growth, profitability and productivity priorities. In parallel of the region’s four-year PLAN30 growth ambitions, you would have built a stronger investment effectiveness framework and further process improvement and automation. You'll work closely with the Head of Asia Pacific Finance, the Asia Pacific Leadership Team, commercial and operational partners, and regional and global finance teams
