Te Tūranga | About the role:

As Finance Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the effectiveness and success of our Finance function. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you'll provide high-quality coordination, administrative and operational support across the CFO portfolio, helping create clarity, structure, and momentum across a busy and dynamic environment.

Acting as the key connector across Finance, you'll ensure priorities, commitments, actions, and deadlines are visible, coordinated, and progressing. You'll support the Finance Leadership Team by managing leadership rhythms, governance processes, reporting cycles, planning activities, and strategic initiatives, enabling leaders to focus on delivering the highest-value outcomes for Silver Fern Farms.

Based in Dunedin or Christchurch, you'll coordinate meetings and governance activities, prepare reporting and presentation materials, maintain action and decision registers, support project delivery, and help ensure information flows effectively across the Finance function.

This role, done well, ensures the CFO and Finance Leadership Team are able to focus their time and energy on the highest value outcomes for Silver Fern Farms.

You may have come from a finance, executive support or project coordination background, or simply enjoy being the person who keeps priorities clear, actions moving, and teams operating at their best

To be successful, you'll have:

  • Proven experience supporting senior leaders, executives, or leadership teams in a complex business environment
  • Strong coordination, administration, and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing reports, presentations, and business documentation
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Word
  • Experience coordinating meetings, governance activities, reporting cycles, projects, or business initiatives
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build credibility and trust across all levels of an organisation
  • High attention to detail, sound judgement, and the ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
  • Relevant qualifications in business administration, finance administration, project coordination, or equivalent practical experience are advantageous
