Your role:

As a finance controller you will provide accurate financial information to help develop best practices in cost and expense control as well as assist in budget development, ensure proper accounting and monthly closing of the company's financial statements. in your daily work you will :

  • Perform the financial analysis of the trial balance to ensure compliance with APTIV accounting policy and integrity of account balances
  • Participate in the monthly closing of accounts in US General Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Analyze and explain variances between forecast and actual;
  • Manage accounting matters and ensure compliance, working with business teams Regional/Divisional Controller and Corporate Technical Accounting
  • Support plant activity for general accounting and maintain tools for the analysis, consistent with the organization
  • Understand and follow up the activities of the site, reporting difficulties and progresses to the Management of the site and the Division
  • Demonstrate leadership to and motivate the operational teams providing cost analysis, to develop cost reduction and corrective action plans, strive for the improvement of the site financial performance and profitability
  • Prepare, communicate, monitor and control the implementation of the budget
  • Support for internal and external audits
  • Review and prepare account reconciliations

Your Background :

  • Academic background in Finance/Controlling with 1 to 2 years of experience in controlling as a must to have. Experience in accounting & auditing is an asset.
  • Passion for Excellence with a good approach in building relationship & partnership with the internal stakeholders
  • Interpersonal Effectiveness with an open mindset combined maturity
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to details with an ability to solve problems analytically, creatively and collaboratively
  • Outstanding verbal and written skills in English
