As a Finance Business Partner, you will work alongside senior leaders to influence commercial outcomes, unlock value, and support decisions that have a real impact across Air New Zealand. Behind the scenes, our Finance team partners with the business to shape strategy, improve performance, and support a future focused organisation.
How you'll make an impact
- Partner with business leaders to improve profitability and business performance.
- Provide trusted commercial advice, financial insights, and analysis that enable informed, strategic decision making.
- Deliver accurate quarterly forecasts, planning, and reporting that support business performance and financial governance.
- Identify and track profitability opportunities and initiatives, helping leaders achieve measurable business outcomes.
- Coach and support managers to build financial capability and confidence in decision making.
- Develop strong relationships across the business and with external stakeholders to ensure sound commercial practices and compliance.
- Contribute to strategic Finance projects while championing the Finance strategy across your portfolio.
Our ideal candidate:
- At least six years of commercial and analytical experience in a complex organisation.
- A proven ability to influence outcomes and deliver strong commercial results.
- Strong relationship building skills with the ability to quickly establish credibility and trust.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with sound judgement when navigating complex business challenges.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate financial information into meaningful business insights.
- A relevant university degree.
- Chartered Accountant membership with a recognised professional body is preferred.
- Experience working in fast paced environments where priorities can change quickly.
