The Finance Business Partner, Senior is a senior finance partner who supports Regional Business directors and executive leaders across complex, high priority areas with enterprise or cross portfolio impact. This a hybrid position with the expectation to be in office 1-2x per week.

Estimated Hiring Range:

$140,940.00 - $172,260.00

Bonus Target:

Essential Responsibilities

Analysis & Operations

  • Provides insight by integrating financial and non‑financial information, including operational, clinical, regulatory, and market data.
  • Synthesizes diverse data sources to identify root causes, emerging risks, and value‑creation opportunities across complex environments.
  • Develop forward‑looking analyses that frame strategic implications, trade‑offs, and decision options.
  • Partners on executive‑ and Board‑facing materials, ensuring clear, integrated financial and operational narratives aligned to strategic objectives.
  • Supports enterprise performance initiatives by delivering initiative‑level financial analysis, tracking value realization, and identifying risks to financial targets.

Financial Planning and Analysis Support

  • Owns business line planning cycles including budgets, rolling forecasts, long-range plans, working through trade-offs that might arise from the FP&A portfolio roll-up.
  • Leads advanced scenario, sensitivity, and stress-testing analysis.
  • Applies strong experience with FP&A best practices and implementation
  • Reviews and challenges analytical work for soundness, clarity, and strategic relevance
  • Supports Director‑led strategic and financial decisions by developing recommendations, framing trade‑offs, and escalating risks, inconsistencies, or emerging performance issues

Relationship Management

  • Serves as a trusted financial advisor to senior leaders, proactively shaping discussions rather than responding to requests.
  • Challenges assumptions constructively and reframes problems to surface financially sound and strategically aligned choices.
  • Influences strategic and operational decisions through credibility, insight, and independent judgment.

Team Support and Development

  • Provides coaching and mentoring to analysts and junior finance partners.
  • Supports onboarding and ongoing development of new team members.
  • Leads through influence by reinforcing Finance standards, analytical rigor, and a collaborative, enterprise‑oriented partnering model.

Experience and/or Education

Required

Minimum 8 years’ experience in finance including core areas such as financial planning and analysis, business partnering, accounting or related field.

Experience supporting senior executives or board‑level decision processes

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; advanced degree a plus

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

Knowledge

  • Advanced knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, financial analysis, and performance management principles.
  • Knowledge of healthcare, payer, or regulated industry
