Job Description
As the Finance BI Specialist you will play a crucial and dynamic role within the Finance BI Team at Rockwell Automation. This position is necessary to implement advanced Business Intelligence and sophisticated data analytics solutions. Tou will work in close collaboration with other BI Teams, the Data Solution Team, IT departments, and different business users. Together, you will develop high-quality, visually appealing, modern, and AI-powered dashboards and scorecards. These tools are designed to provide invaluable insights for RA leadership, ensuring informed decision-making and meticulous monitoring of the company's global performance. Additionally, you will ensure that these solutions align with the latest industry standards and best practices, continually evolving to meet needs. This role is important to drive the organization towards its strategic goals through data-driven insights and innovative solutions.

- MS Power BI (incl. advanced semantic models)
- Azure Databricks
- Azure SQL Data Warehouse
This role is located in our Katowice office with a hybrid work system.
You will report directly to Finance BI Manager
Your Responsibilities:
- Understand business needs to propose appropriate and effective reporting solution that meet business needs and support our strategy
- Design and implement self-service reporting solutions tailored to specific business cases and focused on a particular type of role that will be the main user
- Understand RA data, existing semantic data models and systems to provide centralized, unified reporting platform
- Deliver dashboards and reports powered by AI (incl. CoPilot for PowerBI)
- Deliver automated dashboards and reports including required security to ensure data is shared in compliance with Rockwell's Safeguarding Sensitive Information policy
- Work together with Data Scientists to deliver dashboards and reports powered by ML and AI models
- Conduct user acceptance and feedback sessions
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- 2+ years of experience in Microsoft Power BI (or similar BI tool)
- 1+ years of experience with Business Intelligence or Data Engineering
- 1+ years of experience working with data warehouse / data lake / Big Data / ETL / processing of large datasets or related
- Very good English– verbal and writing skills.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Data Science, Mathematics, Finance or related discipline
