Why this job is important

As a Finance Business Analyst, you will assist Business Partners and Key Stakeholders in decision-making, seizing opportunities, and achieving goals. Reporting to the Finance Director, MENA in Dubai, you will provide insights, strategic support, and analysis to help the business make informed decisions that drive financial success. Your role will be crucial in ensuring profitable growth, enhanced working capital and cashflow management, strong balance sheet management, data-driven decision making, improved transparency and predictability, and efficient budgetary management.

What you’ll be doing

• Understanding the business, shaping and managing performance and business reporting.
• Retaining accountability and ownership of Balance sheet performance to inform the P&L.
• Delivering and supporting business strategy and leading the Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting process.
• Shaping decisions, exploiting opportunities, and delivering outcomes to the business.
• Delivering on business priorities - Investments, business case, and cost take-out scenarios.

The skills & experience needed as Finance Business Analyst

• Minimum 5-8 years of business finance or other relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics.
• Strong analytics and data gathering skills.
• Strong business acumen.
• Ability to develop and support detailed sales plans to assist in delivering stretched targets for Revenue and Net sales.
• Experience in analysing job budgets, tracking sales orders, and providing commentaries on variances.
• Proficiency in preparing business monthly review decks and flagging loss-making jobs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
