Role Summary

We are looking for a Finance Associate to join Marex Brazil, playing a key role in financial control, transformation, and growth in the region. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial and management reporting for Marex, while maintaining a strong financial control environment. The role will also act as a key driver of Finance transformation, aligned with the firm’s global agenda.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage Finance activities for Marex Brazil, working closely with global Finance teams
  • Lead the transition of finance activities from Operations into Finance
  • Design and implement a robust financial control framework, including payments and cost accruals
  • Act as the main Finance liaison in Brazil with Group Legal Entity Control, UK Accounts Payable, Treasury, and Product Control
  • Support the build-out of the Finance function in a growing business and region
  • Contribute to global Finance initiatives (SOX, balance sheet substantiation, monthly P&L)
  • Partner with Brazil Operations and global CFOs on strategic and operational initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with relevant global and local regulatory requirements
  • Operate within Marex’s operational risk framework, escalating issues as required
  • Act as a role model for integrity, ethics, and company values

  • Strong experience in Financial Control, Accounting, or Finance within regulated environments
  • Ability to operate in a global, matrixed organization
  • Hands-on, proactive mindset with experience driving process improvement and change
