Job Description

Join one of the UK’s most notorious and recognisable furniture retailers, known for its bold style, high-quality craftsmanship, and strong brand identity. Based full time on site in Chelsea, our head office is a dynamic environment where creativity meets commercial discipline.

We are looking for somebody who wants to grow a career in Finance. Prior experience is not necessary as we will enrol you on an Apprenticeship to obtain an AAT Level 3 Financial qualification once you have passed your probation.

Please note - we will not be able to accept candidates who have prior experience in Finance and this would not qualify you for the Apprenticeship

We are looking for a driven and proactive individual to support the day-to-day financial operations of the business. This is a broad and varied role, ideal for someone who wants to be involved in all areas of finance within a supportive and collaborative team. Working closely with the Finance Manager and the wider finance team, you’ll gain exposure across management accounts, transactional processing, reconciliations, reporting and business support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing purchase and sales invoices
  • Managing and reconciling supplier statements and bank accounts
  • Assisting with month-end tasks including accruals, prepayments, and journals
  • Supporting the Finance Manager in preparing management accounts
  • Assisting with stock and margin reconciliations
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and files
  • Supporting the wider business with ad hoc finance queries
  • Working closely with internal departments including logistics, sales, and customer service
  • Helping improve financial processes and controls as the company grows
     

Qualifications

  • GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or above
  • Enthusiastic and proactive, with a strong desire to learn and develop
  • Passion for learning and progression within the finance industry
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Confident using Excel and other computer systems
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment

What’s next?

Our Recruitment Team will be reviewing applications and all candidates will receive a response, whether you are successful or unsuccessful. Shortlisted applicants may be asked to confirm a few key details before being booked in for a first stage interview with the Recruiter- this will be behaviourally focussed and centred around how you align with our Culture and Values. If successful we anticipate two further interview stages with the Hiring Manager/wider team which will be more technically focussed and could include a presentation/task so we can see your skills in action.
