Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to join our team, with a strong focus on payroll and expense management. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate and timely financial processes across multiple countries, supporting compliance, and delivering exceptional service to employees.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment, gain hands-on experience with international payroll processes, and develop your expertise in compliance standards.

This is a hybrid role, working 2 days a week in our Cambridge Headquarters.

What Will I Be Doing:

Payroll Support

• Assisting with the accurate and efficient processing of payrolls across multiple countries.
• Managing and responding to payroll-related queries within agreed SLAs.
• Supporting the preparation and validation of monthly payroll entries.
• Acting as a point of contact for resolving payroll issues promptly and professionally.

Expenses

• Processing employee expense reports accurately and on time.
• Ensuring all expense claims comply with company Travel Policy and HMRC regulations.
• Collaborating with the team to resolve expense queries quickly.
• Maintaining up-to-date and accurate staff and third-party details in the finance system.
• Supporting general payment processing and assisting with urgent or special international transactions when required.

What Experience Do I Need:

• Education: Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field or equivalent experience
• Interest: Strong desire to pursue a career in payroll.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Knowledge of finance systems is a plus.
• Nice to Have: Previous experience (internships or administrative roles) in payroll or expense management.
