Finance Analyst
Hybrid working with up to 4 days per week working from home
Salford Quays, Manchester M50 3SP or Leeds, Staines or London
12-month fixed term contract
Salary £39,500 - £43,000 per annum

We’re looking for an ambitious finance analyst who can utilise their commercial finance skills to provide financial insight and support to the Finance Business Partner, enabling robust commercial decisions, accurate reporting and process improvement. Here you’ll help drive SME & Specialist segment profitability through analysis, modelling, and stakeholder collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with business unit teams, supporting decisions to achieve profit and growth targets.
Deliver accurate weekly and monthly performance reporting and MI for senior stakeholders.
Lead analysis of key performance indicators to inform tactical and strategic decisions.
Identify, mitigate, and escalate risks to business targets.
Support planning and forecasting processes, including annual operating plans and rolling forecasts.
Provide robust financial modelling for new products and propositions.
Review intermediary performance and commission activity.
Build strong relationships across Commercial, Product and Actuarial teams.
Promote best practice within Finance.
What you'll bring
Background in Finance roles
Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) or working towards qualification.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to model complex data sets.
Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI skills preferred.
Excellent communication and influencing ability.
Highly organised, adaptable, and team-oriented.
