ROLE
Reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager, you will drive the required process and policy amendments that are necessary for prompt, worldwide, and smooth execution of the standards. You will work jointly with the accounting coordinators on reporting and accounting matters. You will have an important role in the accountancy of our company, working together with the whole team to achieve the goals for the monthly closing.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Prepares booking of assets, liabilities, revenues, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing accounting information
- Analyses the reasonability of trial balances’ variances
- Analyses the consolidated information for the group, namely its Balance Sheet and P&L Fluxes, providing support in the financial statements disclosures
- Complies with legal requirements
- Participates in meetings and guarantees appropriate progress
- Prepares new accounting policies and procedures for the group
- Offers support to colleagues in specific accounting operations
- Guarantees that controls are carried out, recorded, and are working efficiently and promptly
- Provides support on the external audit
WHO YOU ARE
- A bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, management, economics, or auditing
- At least 3 years of functional experience in areas of accounting, auditing, or consolidation
- Knowledge of IFRS, and US GAAP is a plus
- Previous Experience in Consolidation either from a preparer or auditor’s point of view is a plus
- Strong drive for results, including proactive problem-resolution skills in delivering stringent deadlines
- Proficiency in conveying information efficiently and across departments
- Outstanding writing aptitude and capability to organize presentations and papers
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken is mandatory
- An Excellent team player with the ability to interact with different departments
- Considerable knowledge of spreadsheet software and basic computer systems, Microsoft AX, and SAP BPC will be a plus
- Demonstrated ability to perform accurate numeric calculations
- An Excellent communicator
