Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Administer customer discount, rebate, and promotional agreements in line with approved commercial terms.
- Review, validate, and process customer discount and rebate claims.
- Prepare and post journal entries related to customer incentives.
- Reconcile discount, rebate, and customer deduction accounts on a regular basis.
- Monitor settlement balances and ensure timely payments and recoveries.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, disputes, and invalid customer claims.
- Maintain accurate records and supporting documentation for all customer agreements and transactions.
- Prepare periodic reports on discount spend, rebate utilization, accrual balances, and outstanding claims.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, approval procedures, and financial controls.
- Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance teams to resolve operational issues related to customer incentives.
- Assist with internal and external audit requests by providing documentation and explanations.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
- Any other ad-hoc task assigned.
The minimum qualifications for this role are:
- Capabilities: Finance Expertise, Problem Solving, Professional Ethics & Integrity, Collaborator & Communicator, Analytical Aptitude & Data Skills, Adaptability & Resilience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in Finance, Controlling, or Accounting departments
- Technical Skills: Advanced Excel, experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, etc.), and experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools
