Brown & Brown is seeking Finance Analyst SR. to join our growing team in Daytona Beach, FL! 

 

The Senior FP&A Analyst will work closely with the Director of FP&A and business leaders across the organization to provide financial insight, advanced modeling, and data-driven analysis that supports strategic decision-making. The role contributes to financial planning processes, operational analysis, and initiatives related to organizational design, target operating models, and evolving business structures.

 

How You Will Contribute: 

  • Consolidate, analyze, and interpret financial data, including budgets, forecasts, and operating results.
  • Support annual budget development, periodic forecasting cycles, and financial planning across multiple business units.
  • Build advanced financial models and analytical frameworks that guide business planning and investment decisions.
  • Perform detailed variance analyses to identify key performance drivers and trends.
  • Develop and present financial reports, dashboards, and executive‑level presentations that communicate clear insights.
  • Support organizational structure changes, operating model design, and business transformation initiatives.
  • Evaluate operating structures, cost allocations, and efficiencies through financial modeling.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to inform scalable business models and long‑term financial strategies.
  • Partner with business leaders to assess financial impacts of strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Enhance reporting, analytics, and data structures; help develop dashboards and tools for real‑time insights.
  • Contribute to month‑end and quarter‑end reporting and prepare executive reporting packages.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills, communication abilities, and a proactive, detail‑oriented approach to problem‑solving in a fast‑paced environment.

 

Skills & Experience to be Successful: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, consulting, or a related analytical role.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
  • Experience working with financial reporting tools or analytics platforms (Power BI, Adaptive Insights, Workday, or similar) preferred.
  • Experience analyzing large datasets and developing financial insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize financial and operational information to support decision-making.
