Purpose of the role
This role within the FP&A team offers a dynamic opportunity to gain invaluable insight into the international airline industry by actively challenging and enhancing analytics processes. You will significantly impact business performance by conducting critical analysis of financial reports, identifying key variances, and providing strategic recommendations to drive improvements and cost savings. This position is ideal for a proactive finance professional eager to apply strong analytical skills in a fast-paced, global environment.Responsibilities
Conducting critical analysis of monthly/quarterly/annual P&L and other management reports to support planning, forecasting and understanding the performance of the operating company business units
Analysing variances and exploring potential issues, making recommendations to the Finance Business Partner and advise on the impact
Perform ad hoc analysis to support FBP organisation using Tableau, Excel or other tools
Provide productivity analysis to drive improvements and cost savings
Own the production of capital cash forecasting information, highlighting trends and tracking performance
Provide information to respond to external audit requirements
Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
2+ years of related experience in financial planning /analysis or in general accounting
Proficient command of MS Excel;
Excellent English language skills;
Experience in Variance analysis
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving, global environment with tight deadlines and finite resources
