THE JOB:
MGM Grand Detroit is seeking a driven and collaborative Financial Analyst to step into the spotlight and help power our financial performance. In this key role, you will partner closely with management to support all budgeting, forecasting, and reporting efforts across our diverse functional areas. You'll collaborate directly with property leaders, Corporate Finance, and our BI and Data Governance teams to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations that guide senior executives. If you are an analytical professional with a passion for building strong partnerships and delivering high-impact financial insights, we invite you to help us maintain our premier standards and move the needle for our world-class resort.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Supports Manager in all budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analyzing efforts.
  • Assists in completing all monthly, quarterly, annual, and other ad-hoc analyses and reports, ensuring all are completed accurately and on-time.
  • Collaborates with all Corporate and Property stakeholders to understand and create solutions for their business / analytical needs.
  • Collaborates with the BI and Data Governance team to gather functional area requirements to meet reporting and analytical needs.
  • Presents clear analyses and recommendations to team leaders.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Bachelor's degree, GED, or equivalent
  • One year of prior relevant experience
