Join Cisco's Global Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Center of Excellence (CoE) in Bangalore, where finance professionals partner with regional Sales, Services, and Business Entity leaders to drive strategic decision-making through financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business insights.
As part of the APJC Finance organization, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver accurate financial analysis, support business performance, and enable data-driven decisions that contribute to Cisco's continued growth.
Your ImpactAs a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting business performance by delivering financial insights, forecasting, and reporting that enable informed decision-making across the APJC region.
You will:
- Prepare and deliver financial reports, dashboards, and business performance analysis to support regional and global stakeholders.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting, planning, and budgeting activities.
- Analyze bookings, revenue, margins, operating expenses, and headcount (HC) to provide actionable business insights.
- Support OpEx management, including purchase requisition (PR) approvals and accruals.
- Partner with business finance teams to provide timely financial analysis and recommendations.
- Perform variance analysis and identify business trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Act as a trusted finance partner, collaborating with cross-functional teams to support strategic business decisions.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to simplify reporting, improve data quality, and automate finance processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field; CA or ICWA
- 2+ years of experience in FP&A, Business Finance, Commercial Finance, or Financial Reporting.
- Strong understanding of:
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Financial reporting and variance analysis
- Month-end close processes
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using financial reporting tools such as Business Objects, Essbase, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and business partnering skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional, global environment.
- Experience working in a large multinational organization.
- Knowledge of Macros, VBA, SQL, or database concepts for managing large financial datasets.
- Experience developing financial models, dashboards, and reporting automation.

- Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools is an advantage.
