Our client, a professional and reputable Industrial Cleaning and Waste Management Company, is seeking to hire meticulous and pro-active Account Officer in their kwale office, Delta State to manage the Company’s day-to-day financial transactions.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing payments, and ensuring the integrity of their general ledger. The ideal candidate is a numbers-driven professional who thrives in a high-growth environment and possesses a strong command of accounting software.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Data Entry & Maintenance
  • ∙Record all daily financial into the Accounting System.
  • ∙Perform weekly and monthly Bank Reconciliations to ensure zero discrepancy between book and bank balances.
  • ∙Maintain an organized digital and physical filing system for all financial documents, supporting audit readiness.

2. Accounts Payable & Receivable
  • ∙Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments 
  • ∙Monitor aged receivables and follow up with clients to ensure timely collections and healthy cash flow.
  • ∙Verify and process staff expense claims and cash advances in line with company policy

3. Reporting & Analysis
  • ∙Assist in the preparation of monthly Trial Balances and financial statements.
  • Monitor departmental budget utilization and highlight significant variances to management. 

Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Currently pursuing ICAN 
  • 2–4 years of experience in a dedicated Accounting or bookkeeping role.
  • High proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft excel.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong ethical standards, and the ability to meet strict month-end deadlines.
