Job Description: Sales Representative – Filtration and Separation Solutions

Location: Latam South

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Representative to support the growth of our Filtration and Separation business within Industry Market in Latam South. The ideal candidate will have strong sales and relationship management skills, experience working with customers and distributors, and the ability to identify business opportunities and drive revenue growth.

This role will be responsible for managing customer relationships, supporting distributor activities, promoting filtration and separation solutions, and achieving sales targets within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Customer & Distributor Management

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients in the Industry Market, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic accounts, building trusted advisor relationships with customer stakeholders.

Business Growth & Market Development

  • Identify opportunities for account growth and new business within existing client portfolios.
  • Proactively propose solutions that support safety, quality assurance, production efficiency, and regulatory compliance needs.
  • Drive revenue growth through strategic account planning and market development initiatives.

Strategic Planning

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their operational and business goals and develop strategic plans to support them.
  • Provide market insights and recommendations based on industry trends, competitive intelligence, and data analysis within Industry sector.

Sales Execution & Territory Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and key stakeholders within  industry.
  • Manage assigned territory and customer portfolio to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
  • Identify new business opportunities and support market expansion initiatives.
  • Promote filtration and separation solutions that address customer needs related to food safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Support distributor partners through regular communication, product training, and commercial follow-up.

KPI Management & Sales Performance

  • Track and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales growth, revenue targets, customer retention, pipeline development, and distributor performance.
  • Monitor business performance through dashboards, CRM tools, and sales analytics to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with customers and distributors to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and implement corrective action plans when performance gaps are identified.
  • Deliver accurate sales forecasting and business reporting to regional leadership.
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize territory management, customer engagement strategies, and operational efficiency.

Project Management

  • Oversee the execution of customer projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Coordinate with internal teams including sales, technical support, marketing, customer service, and operations to meet customer expectations.

Performance Monitoring

  • Continuously monitor account performance against defined KPIs, sales objectives, and strategic business goals.
  • Prepare and present regular business reviews, performance reports, and market analysis to senior leadership.
  • Analyze customer trends, sales performance, and market dynamics to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure accountability across teams and distributor partners through structured follow-up and performance management processes.

Commercial & Contract Management

  • Lead contract negotiations with customers and distributor partners, ensuring terms are favorable and aligned with company policies.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with sales, marketing, product management, technical specialists, and customer support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders to align business strategies and market initiatives.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Life Sciences, Business Administration, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development roles.
  • Proven experience in the Food & Beverage, Filtration, Separation, Process Technologies, or related industrial markets is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with distributors and regional accounts in Latin America is preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and distributor partners.
  • Proven experience driving KPI-based business management and sales performance improvement.
