Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Field Service Engineer to join our LIFE CYCLE SERVICES department. As a key member of our team, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our customers, implementing cutting-edge technologies, and ensuring operational excellence.

Your role and responsibility:

Field service engineer Automation with an affinity for controls and motion/mechatronics solving ad hoc customer solution requests and being ready when your help is needed. Working as a field service engineer at Rockwell Automation means a lot of freedom and insight into interesting clients. Industrial automation results in a smooth, error-free, and efficient production process. Necessary for the customer to get the most out of their organization. You support clients throughout the Belgium, Luxembourg and sometimes the Netherlands with your technical knowledge. We give you freedom in your work, but also in choosing which Rockwell Automation expertise you want to develop yourself as expert. You will work in an exciting industry, where Rockwell Automation is one of the world's advanced players. You are in contact with the client's technical employees, and you are physically on location, at the place where it all happens, but you also work from home and office via remote connections to our customers' systems. That makes it interesting and varied. because no two situations are the same. Your work consists of: Working on projects, developing applications, assisting in setting up new designs, carrying out inspections, preventive maintenance and resolving disruptions. - Guiding customers to achieve optimal returns from their systems. -, installations and commissioning of systems. - Supporting the Sales department in technical areas. Work within a great and Flexible team. You have colleagues worldwide with whom you are in contact, usually remotely and occasionally in the office.

Furthermore, you have:

  • Bachelor working and thinking level in a technical direction, for example electrical engineering, mechatronics, or automation.
  • Experience in machine building with motion is an advantage.
  • Hands-on mentality and you are flexible.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch (French is a plus)
  • Driving license (B).
  • Willing to be part of our 24/7 on-call support team, offering troubleshooting assistance when needed.
