The Role

Job Overview

This role is essential for executing regional sales strategies, generating and qualifying leads, and supporting sales efforts. You will be responsible for facilitating marketing-generated leads to the field, gathering and analyzing sales data, assisting with CRM training and maintenance, and supporting various sales processes and projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation: Collect and organize contact details to build targeted lists of potential customers, enhancing lead generation efforts.

  • Market Research: Conduct thorough research to uncover new business opportunities, understand market trends, and identify potential clients.

  • Qualifying Leads: Assess and determine the suitability of leads by evaluating their fit with our offerings, understanding their business needs, and moving them strategically through the sales funnel.

  • Maintaining Records: Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of prospect interactions, lead status, and sales activities in the company’s CRM system.

  • CRM Training Assistance: Assist in training new users on the CRM platform, including providing support, resources, and best practices to ensure effective utilization.

  • CRM Housekeeping: Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping tasks on the CRM platform, such as data cleansing, updating records, and ensuring system integrity and accuracy.

  • Assisting in Sales Processes: Support various stages of the sales process, including preparing sales materials, tracking progress, and ensuring smooth execution of sales strategies.

  • Project Support: Participate in and assist with marketing and sales projects, contributing to the planning, execution, and evaluation of initiatives.

  • Additional Tasks: Take on other tasks and responsibilities as needed to support the marketing and sales teams and contribute to overall business objectives.

Qualifications

  • Education: (Recommended) Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.

  • Experience: 1 year of experience in field marketing, lead generation, or a related role. Experience in packaging is a plus.

  • Skills:

    • Proven ability to generate and qualify leads effectively.

    • Strong skills in market research and understanding of industry trends.

    • Proficiency in data gathering, analysis, and reporting.

    • Experience with CRM platforms, including training and maintenance.

    • Proficiency in CRM software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

    • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with a detail-oriented approach.

    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

    • Flexibility to assist in various sales processes, projects, and additional tasks as required.

  • Travel: Willingness to travel within the designated region.
