The Field Communications Specialist will play a vital role in developing and delivering communication strategies to effectively relay the company’s priorities to the Exclusive Agent channel and Field Leadership Team. This includes creating content for various communication vehicles, ensuring clarity and engagement in all messaging. This is a hybrid role in Springfield IL.
Key Responsibilities
- Communication Development: Assist in crafting and executing communication plans, including product updates, executive messages, marketing promotions, and routine updates.
- Operational Communications: Develop routine communications from business partners to keep stakeholders informed.
- Proofreading and Editing: Edit and proofread departmental communications for grammatical accuracy and alignment with corporate style.
- Content Coordination: Manage the distribution of communications and post approved content to the communication center.
- Collaboration: Work closely with business partners to share relevant news via intranet, email, and other channels.
- Content Creation: Create engaging, high-quality content for the Agent Knowledge Library and the field-facing intranet.
- Field Meeting Support: Provide support for field meeting content to ensure it is engaging and aligned with corporate strategy.
- Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate effective collaboration and strong communication skills.
- Time Management: Exhibit strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Additional Information
- Work Environment: Hybrid model in a normal office setting.
- Travel: Occasional travel required (10-20%).
- Hours: May require irregular hours outside of standard business hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM).
Requirements
- Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, or a related field.
- Communication Skills: Mastery of verbal and written communication is essential.
Pay Range:
- $24.00-$37.00 hourly non-exempt position ($49,920 - $76,960)
- Salary is commensurate to experience, location, etc.
