Would you like to work with FEM simulations in a global product company? We are now looking for a mechanical strength and thermal simulation engineer who wants to take on complex computational models with the latest tools.
The Tools, Design & Technolgies Team

Tools, Design & Technologies is a group within Axis Development Services. We support our product development teams and projects with technical specialist knowledge in various areas such as development tools, PLM systems, simulations, materials knowledge and industrial design.

We are a total of 15 committed individuals with deep knowledge in our respective fields with a common ambition to support Axis with our knowledge and experience.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an engineer with an interest and experience in technical calculations using the finite element method. You have a master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field and experience with any commercial software in the FEM/FEA area. You speak and write both Swedish and English without hindrance.

It is an added bonus if you have knowledge and experience in:

· Explicit calculations

· Coupled Analyses, CFD Thermal Loads

· Dynamic Progressions

· Nonlinear material models

· Nonlinear analyses

· Precision engineering products in plastic and die-cast metal

Your role

The mechanics of our products are a very important part of the customer experience. A network camera must be easy to install, easy to set up, and at the same time be robust and durable over a long period of time. Quality and sustainability are keywords in our development of the network products of the future.

To streamline and facilitate the development of world-leading mechanics, we work with simulation throughout the product development cycle. At present, it is mainly a matter of simulation of impact strength and thermal analyses regarding thermal management of embedded electronics using CFD.

You will independently support product development projects and line work with technical

calculations. The group helps each other in developing different solutions and discussing problems, but the work on the projects is usually carried out with a calculation engineer in a team. You work closely with your colleagues with the same knowledge profile but have a great responsibility to run your tasks together with the project groups consisting of mechanical, electronics, test/verification and software engineers.
