Responsibilities:Develop: Design, enhance, and maintain a group-wide Compliance Management System, including mandatory policies aligned with Freudenberg Corporate guidelines while enabling local adaptations
Strengthen: Enhance decentralized compliance governance, develop Compliance Committees further, and establish transparent reporting and escalation structures across business units
Assess: Conduct annual compliance risk assessments, create risk heat maps, and prioritize mitigation measures for high-risk areas
Investigate: Lead and support compliance investigations in close alignment with the Head of Compliance and Corporate Audit
Enable: Roll out global compliance training programs with locally relevant content and use digital learning platforms for consistency and tracking
Monitor: Implement centralized monitoring tools and coordinate periodic assurance audits for decentralized units, with a focus on high-risk processes
Drive: Support the development and deployment of compliance technology solutions for policy updates, reporting, and tracking
Collaborate: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and support cross-functional compliance initiatives, including M&A-related integration activities
Education: University degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field with a focus on Compliance, Risk, or Governance; a master’s degree is desirable
Experience: Several years of professional experience in compliance, governance, or risk management within an international or matrix organization is essential
Expertise: Hands-on experience with compliance frameworks, risk assessments, investigations, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
Mindset: Strategic thinker with a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach and strong execution skills
Communication: Confident communicator with the ability to address sensitive topics clearly and collaborate effectively across functions and seniority levels
Languages: Fluent German and English (both C1-level) required
