Conducts daily and weekly auditing of employee benefit time, including PTO, FMLA, and other leaves of absence, within various workforce management and company timekeeping systems. Updates applicable systems with attendance and status entries. Uses foundational data analysis techniques and system reporting tools to identify employee attendance trends and patterns. Communicates findings and concerns to leadership and HR. Communicates with Payroll, HR, and Claims WFM Scheduling team to facilitate accurate application of employee benefit time to address associated pay status questions. Provides front line service to employees, supervisors, and managers related to timekeeping, benefit time, and exceptions driven by wage and hour compliance reporting. Conducts leader sign-off of timecards for supported employees. Reviews employee timecards and validates hours worked as recorded in workforce management and company timekeeping systems. Approves timecards or coordinates with leaders to resolve discrepancies or concerns. Creates ad hoc reporting as requested. Performs other duties as assigned.
Role Description:
This position provides administrative support for timekeeping and compliance for a business unit. The role performs moderately complex tasks with a high degree of confidentiality, organization, and attention to detail to support internal customers at all levels within the department. Responsibilities include timecard auditing and approval, employee attendance tracking, and wage and hour compliance. The position provides excellent customer service via email, phone or in-person interactions. Occasional weekend work may be required.
