Role Description:
Program Design & Governance
- Define enterprise DR governance framework (policy, standards, controls, RACI)
- Establish risk-based testing methodology and frequency model
- Define “what, how, and evidence” for DR testing
Testing Governance & Oversight
- Define annual DR testing plan and coverage model
- Implement governance cadence (quarterly reviews, approvals)
- Track execution and validate results
Issue Management Framework
- Define DR issue logging, severity classification, SLA, and remediation tracking
- Implement centralized issue tracking
Regulatory & Audit Readiness
- Produce auditable evidence and reporting
- Support NY DFS and internal audit attestation requirements
Automation Enablement
- Build integrated data model and implement Power Platform solution for: Tracking test coverage and results
- Audit traceability and reporting
- Executive dashboards.
Essential Job Functions
- Oversees the planning and controlling of day to day project tasks and budgets
- Implements organizational governance
- Interacts with business and IT partners within the immediate environment to foster commitment and teamwork. Handles specific customer challenges (escalation).
- Works with business unit to define critical business needs and arranges appropriate resources.
- Is responsible for the delivery of large scale projects to the business including risk, quality, and change management, system dependency touch points, schedule and financial management
- Is accountable for work request evaluation and authorization, development and submission of work orders, as well as review of cost estimates from the suppliers.
- Is accountable for Acceptance Criteria and execution of Acceptance Testing at program level.
- Is responsible for project level planning, monitoring and reporting on project performance
- Signs off on project deliverables
- Performs internal project close down
- Conducts Post-Implementation Reviews
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in IT disaster recovery program management.
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience.
- Fluency in English
- ISO 27031 Certification (nice to have)
