The purpose of this role is to pro-actively finalise workers compensation claims and manage a portfolio of non-significant workers compensation claims in accordance with EML’s guidelines, policies and procedures.
This will be a full time, permanent position based in the Sydney office with flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week considered from month three, subject to performance and approval.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviewing and analysing each claim in your portfolio and making appropriate claims management decisions in accordance with EML policies, procedures and compliance requirements
- Developing, monitoring and updating Claims Management Plans (CMPs) to achieve positive Return To Work (RTW) goals
- Forecasting, developing and implementing strategies to overcome potential barriers in order to ensure a timely and durable RTW for the injured worker
- Developing a working understanding of the relevant legislation or policy

- Ability to accurately use multiple software in a high volume and fast paced environment
- Effectively manage your time in order to achieve deadlines within required timeframes
- Strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency
