The program provides experiences that help rising TIers understand how to successfully grow TI’s business and to thrive throughout their entire TI career. There are two available FAST program tracks: Field Applications and Technical Sales.
This 8-month experience aims to teach Technical Sales Associates (TSAs) how to build and manage customer relationships, and how to influence decisions to grow TI’s revenue. The track includes three rotations:
- Rotation 1: Field Sales Office (FSO): This 4-month rotation integrates Technical Sales Associates with a local TI sales team, offering first-hand experience of TI’s sales process. You will partner with customers and internal teams to uncover and win every possible customer opportunity, and also leverage our one-of-a-kind virtual account system to learn how to find, define, and win opportunities in a mix of real-time and simulated environments.
- Rotation 2: Mass Market Team: This 2-month rotation the focus is on scaling, efficiency, and the effective use of data. A key element of this stage is learning how to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in order to handle multiple projects simultaneously. The rotation also provides the opportunity to gain direct customer interaction experience and to further develop expertise in virtual selling. In addition, the rotation offers valuable insights into automation and innovation projects, which not only help to optimize processes but also bring new impulses for the development of the mass market business.
- Rotation 3: During the third rotation in the BU/SEM team, which lasts six weeks with four weeks spent at headquarters, the focus is on gaining a deeper understanding of the business unit and sales engineering management environment. Key learnings include the application of the three-vector approach as well as a comprehensive view of product lifecycles, covering definition, development, release, and ongoing support. The rotation also emphasizes building organizational savviness, both in remote settings and through in-person collaboration. Furthermore, it provides clarity on the BU’s and SEM’s role within Steps 4 and 5 of the process, as well as the BU’s involvement in Step 6. Finally, participants learn how to effectively identify and leverage the right resources at the right time, such as TI.com, datasheets, end-to-end tools, Seismic, and product line resources, in order to drive successful outcomes.

Retirement Support — A 401(k) match is described as a stable core benefit, with some references to additional legacy employer contributions and even pension-like elements for certain cohorts. This framing positions long-term savings support as a notable part of the overall rewards package.
-
Healthcare Strength — Medical coverage is depicted as broadly comprehensive, with preventive care and access to HSA/FSA features cited as value-adds. Company-seeded HSA contributions are repeatedly characterized as an important offset to the plan design for those enrolled.
