To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Failure Analysis Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to the Test Engineer, this role involves responsibilities for Implementing and maintaining cost-effective methods of troubleshooting systems, software, and/or equipment.

What a typical day looks like:

• Determines conditions and procedures under which the technicians are to be conducted and Indicators and phases of Debug Process.
• Interfaces and confers with scientific, engineering and technical personnel to resolve testing and troubleshooting problems such as failures of product or system malfunctions, incomplete test data, Failure Analysis Reports, new solutions, obsolete components data interpretation or coding issues.
• Trains and instructs floor support, debug technicians and test operators on test hardware and/or software, failures solutions as well as proper problem-solving techniques.
• Resolves test yield problems by performing analysis of root causes, developing and coordinating corrective action measures and monitoring improvements.
• Analyzes and interprets Failure’s data and prepares technical reports for use by electronic or software engineering, and management personnel.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Engineering or bachelor's degree completed
• Experience as Failure Analysis in electronics manufacturing industry.
• Advanced use of multimeter.
• Advanced use of Oscilloscope.
• Circuit analysis.
• Serial communications
• Theoretical fundamentals.
• Intermediate English.
• Basic knowledge in telecommunication cards (Networking).
