Job Summary

As a Permitting Coordinator, Facility Project Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring facility-related regulatory compliance. You will maintain effective communication, coordination, and regulatory alignment for facility construction, expansion, and daily operations, supporting Micron's business continuity and long-term site development objectives.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage communications with required permitting and licensing collaborators regarding facility construction, expansion, modification, and operational requirements.
- Assist with permitting and licensing applications, reviews, renewals, and regulatory documentation related to facility utilities, infrastructure, and operations.
- Monitor, assess, and address permitting/licensing application questions, requirements, and regulatory updates that could affect facility operations or projects.
- Collaborate with internal partners (Facility, EHS, Legal, and Project Management teams) to ensure alignment with applicable regulations and site development plans.
- Assist in coordinating site compliance activities and audits associated with facility infrastructure and regulatory requirements.
- Support facility-related projects by coordinating compliance-related approvals and ensuring achievements align with regulatory timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of internal and external communications, submissions, approvals, and commitments.
- Provide regular status updates and risk assessments related to compliance coordination activities to top management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Facility Management, Public Administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in compliance permitting/licensing application, preferably related to facility or infrastructure construction/operations.
- Comprehensive understanding of the permitting and licensing application, amendment, and renewal procedures.
- Basic knowledge of facility systems, utilities, construction processes, or industrial site operations is preferred.
- Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with related collaborators.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
- Strong documentation and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting semiconductor, manufacturing, or high-tech industrial facilities.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-related regulations, permitting processes, or administrative procedures.
- Experience in project coordination or project management.
- Bilingual capability in a widely spoken East Asian language and English.

- Occasional participation in meetings with regulatory-related collaborators may be required to support project or regulatory needs.
