In this role, you will impact the manufacturing process by applying your advanced fabrication and machining skills to support production efficiency, quality standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Operate and program mill and lathe machines to fabricate precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform complex machining and fabrication tasks with minimal supervision, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, identifying and resolving any deviations or defects.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize fabrication processes and improve efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all safety protocols and company procedures.
- Proven machinist experience operating mill and lathe machines.
- Experience with CNC control and programming to perform precise machining and fabrication tasks.
- Strong ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Demonstrated skill in performing precision machining and fabrication tasks with attention to detail and quality.
- Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in a manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or vocational training in machining or fabrication is a plus.
