SUMMARY

Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the Fabricator will work in all phases of fabrication for each of our unique projects specifically designed for our clients. The Fabricator has a direct impact on how each product is crafted and delivered to the client.


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS may include but are not limited to:

  • Possess an eye for quality and detail and desire to work on cool projects
  • Must be willing to do all phases of fabrication
  • Always maintain a safe and positive work environment
  • Operates power tools, fabrication machines, and/or life equipment and material
  • Work and collaborate as a team to complete projects on a timely schedule
  • Takes direction well and is a self-starter
  • Improves processes when necessary
  • Fulfills production duties assigned as needed

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Ability to read CAD drawings is preferred
  • Knowledge of fractions, decimals- both standard and metric
  • Ability to use various measuring tools
  • Knowledge of fabrication shop procedures
  • Ability to work solo and as part of a project team
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop and crouch all day and frequently lift or move items up to 75 pounds

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  • 1-3 years of experience with finish carpentry, cabinet making, custom woodworking, finishing, and plastics
  • OSHA certification is preferred

  • The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, climb, crouch, or crawl
  • The employee must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distant vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
  • Employee must be able to talk and hear

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Due to our onsite Fabrication process, the work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee may encounter while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, employee may be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions.

Skills Required

  • 1-3 years of experience with finish carpentry, cabinet making, custom woodworking, finishing, and plastics
