onsemi EFK is seeking an equipment and REL test engineer to join our Failure Analysis team in Hopewell Junction, NY.

This position will consist of the following:

  • Documentation and standardization of REL test equipment and testing.  Execution on REL testing and data reporting to reliability team(s).
  • Chemical preparation and execution of VPD-ICPMS tool for Fab contamination detection inside the cleanroom.
  • Inventory and tool capabilities documentation, management, and coordination with lab teams.
  • Understanding and being responsible for Yield/Integration/Labs Safety execution.
Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Learning and running the VPD-ICPMS tool for fab contamination monitoring, including chemical preparation for the same.
  • Understanding and learning the usage of fully- and semi-automated test equipment for REL and DEV testing in the offline test lab and bench test lab.
  • Inventory and tool capability documentation, management, and coordination of assets for the Labs Team.
  • Serving as an executive safety representative for the Yield/Integration/Labs teams, and a direct Safety representative for the Labs team.
  • Owning projects and driving to completion as directed, driving results and reporting progress.
Qualifications

Qualifications for the position (preferred):

  • Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, or related STEM field.
  • 5+ years of industry experience in Failure Analysis or Test.
  • Hands-on experience with chemical prepartion of ultra-pure chemistry.
  • Experience with hazard detection and safety mindset.

Qualifications for the position (minimum):

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, or related STEM field.
  • 2-5 years of industry experience related to Failure Analysis or Test, or other Electrical Engineering discipline.
  • Some amount of experience related to hazard detection and driving safety-related project(s).

onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $75,300 to 120,400. exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
