Job DescriptionAbout the role:
Support Head of Reporting in Operating As A US Business workstreams including:
Disclosure Governance
External Reporting Committee minutes and other documentation support including position papers on new metrics and governance planning
FS Disclosures
Taxonomy Project Support to check disclosures are appropriate
AI Governance
Maintain policy and procedures, work closely with Analytics/Products to consider future financial reporting impacts of new AI initiatives and toolings
Support in control design of AI initiatives that impact Financial Reporting
MGF and Month End Packs
Support Month End Reporting Pack improvements, working closely with the Internal Reporting Senior Manager
Financial Reporting Automation (Workiva)
Support in tool selection, data preparation and support in tool rollout
Lead Audit Readiness initiatives including:
Position papers and walkthroughs of new Wise accounting and audit initiatives including:
Bond Automation
Lease Automation
Bank Time Stamps support
Terrapay support
Safeguarding audit support
BAAM support
Support walkthrough process and improve process with auditors
Support audit champions with “best practice”
Continuous review and optimisation of the audit process
Ad hoc audit issue support
Audit Matters Tracker ownership
About you:
Deep understanding in a company’s reporting function
ACA qualified
Strong written documentation skills
Audit background
Ability to manage projects from start to finish
Find blockers in projects and consider ways of removing those blockers
Able to work cross-functionally with multiple teams working on different priorities
Working for a US listed Company is integral. Fintech experience helpful but not essential.
Ability to work within a fast-moving environment.

Employees engage in a combination of remote and on-site work.
We expect new joiners in the office most days to build connections and learn from colleagues for their first six months. After that, most Wisers split their working week between the office and home, typically coming in at least 12 times a month.
