The Project Manager – Power Generation is responsible for end-to-end delivery of power generation projects, ensuring safety, quality, cost, and schedule objectives are met. This role is critical in delivering data centre projects, requiring strong on-site leadership to manage complex construction environments and coordinate across customers, contractors, vendors, suppliers, and internal teams in real time.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead power generation and data center projects from contract award to commissioning and handover
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Ensure strict adherence to HSE, quality, and regulatory compliance, while maintaining practical execution on site
- Manage project risks, issues, and change control (VOs), with proactive, solution-oriented decision making
- Oversee cost control, P&L responsibility, cash flow, and forecasting
- Coordinate internal teams (engineering, supply chain, service) and external stakeholders
- Act as the on-site focal point, driving daily coordination between customer, consultants, contractors, vendors, and suppliers
- Act as primary customer interface, ensuring strong client engagement and satisfaction
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, and site execution activities
- Actively resolve site issues, conflicts, and design/construction gaps to maintain progress and schedule
- Track progress, prepare reports, and communicate status to stakeholders
- Drive standardization, lessons learned, and continuous improvement
- Mentor and guide project engineers and site teams

- 8–15 years of experience managing power generation or large EPC projects
- Proven experience in data centre, mission-critical, or fast-track construction projects is strongly preferred
- Strong exposure to gensets, balance of plant, commissioning, and site execution
- Demonstrated experience managing site-based construction activities and multi-stakeholder environments
- Proven experience managing cost, schedule, risk, and P&L
- Experience working with cross-functional and multicultural teams
- Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) is an advantage
- Proficient in project tools (MS Project, ERP, reporting dashboards)
- Willingness to be hands-on and present on site to drive project outcomes
