What You'll Do...
- Responsible for day- to- day smooth running of LCL operational activities
- Manage shipments tendered to the company in a timely manner to achieve profitability.
- Establish and manage relationship and rapport with all carriers, forwarders, transporters, warehouse operators etc.
- Ensure activities carried out are adhering to corporate compliance, global/local policies and guidelines;
- Manage and maintain the requirements for export documentation in compliance with CBP and other government agencies
- Actively engage in shipments problem solving
- Responsible for selection and training of team members.
-Lead, motivate and manage the performance of the teams to ensure optimum team and individual performance;
What You'll Need...
- Diploma or Bachelor’ degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management or related field
-Minimum 3-5 years’ relevant managerial experience preferably in Ocean freight forwarding industries
-Good knowledge of LCL Ocean freight forwarding in general
-Willingness to challenge the status quo and to drive innovation and change
-Able to work under pressure and deal with tight dead lines
- Good team player
