Location: Rotterdam
The Role
As an Export Logistic Planner, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and managing export shipments from assigned plants. You’ll coordinate transportation, ensure timely delivery, and maintain accurate documentation while collaborating with internal teams and external partners. This role will focus on export logistics activities which includes the export docpack (document packaging) activities but will be required to learn & eventually provide cover for the other logistics planning activities both road packed goods & bulk road tankers.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and execute international shipments of raw materials and finished goods
• Prepare and manage export documentation
• Track shipments and communicate exceptions
• Collaborate with Customer Service and carriers
• Resolve operational issues and streamline logistics processes
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
• Support audits and continuous improvement initiatives
• Provide backup for other logistics planners and share knowledge
Your Profile
• 3–5+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or order fulfilment
• Knowledge of export/import documentation and freight forwarding
• Strong Excel skills; SAP experience preferred (SAP 4 HANA)
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field or extensive experience
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and problem-solving mindset
