Key Responsibilities
- Develop deep therapeutic area and product expertise to support scientific communication activities.
- Research, write, and review original scientific content, including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, slide decks, and related materials.
- Create and coordinate meeting materials for symposia, advisory boards, and internal/external scientific meetings.
- Ensure all deliverables are scientifically accurate, evidence-based, appropriately referenced, and compliant with quality standards.
- Conduct scientific reviews and provide quality oversight to maintain consistency of key messages and content quality.
- Mentor team members, support onboarding of new colleagues, and contribute to capability building.
- Perform quality control (QC), proofreading, and compliance checks to meet stakeholder and publication standards.
- Translate complex scientific concepts into clear, concise, and audience-appropriate communications.
- Adhere to internal processes, SOPs, publication guidelines (GPP), and industry best practices throughout project execution.
- Support publication strategy, cross-functional projects, problem-solving, documentation, archiving, and work across multiple therapeutic areas and brands.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum science degree or equivalent. MSc, PhD, PharmD, or MD Preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in medical communications.
- Medical writing experience.
- Good understanding of industry work processes for publications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
