In this role, you will be responsible for driving end-to-end HR operational excellence across our employee lifecycle and time & attendance processes. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality HR operations, ensuring compliance with internal controls and local regulations and achieving defined service levels and operational KPIs. As a key contact for employees, managers, and stakeholders, you will contribute to delivering seamless and best-in-class employee experience. As the subject matter expert for H2R processes and Workday transactions, you will be expected to contribute to process standards, data quality, compliance requirements and continuous improvement opportunities.
Job Description
Key ResponsibilitiesEmployee Lifecycle Management- Support the operational execution of HR strategic objectives and process initiatives. Act as the SME for Workday HCM employee lifecycle transactions and ensure adherence to global process standards.
- Own and execute end to end Hire‑to‑Retire (H2R) processes from onboarding to offboarding, employee data changes, time & attendance management and ensure timely, accurate, and compliant processing of all transactions across HR systems.
- Collaborate closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Payroll and Technology teams to ensure seamless employee experience. Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HCM systems (Workday, SAP).
- Hands‑on experience in managing and resolving service requests via case management tool (ServiceNow) within the defined Service Level Agreement and Key Performance Indicators (Turnaround time, first-time-right rate)
- Perform quality reviews and apply the four-eye principle in accordance with HR Internal Controls.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement, and support regional and global HR transformation projects.
- Support Workday testing activities, system releases, enhancements, and process changes.
- Administer time and attendance processes, ensuring accurate recording of working hours, absences, and leave transactions.
- Act as the SME for Workday HCM employee lifecycle transactions and ensure adherence to global process standards
- Support employees in resolving time management-related queries.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, union agreements (if applicable), and internal timekeeping policies.
- Partner with Payroll and other stakeholders to ensure the accuracy of time-related data impacting payroll processing.
- Ensure adherence to global and local HR policies, labor regulations, data privacy requirements and internal controls.
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and support internal, external and compliance audits.
- Support lead in monitoring performance against KPIs and SLAs.
- Conduct root cause analysis and help in implementing sustainable corrective actions.
- Prepare, validate and reconcile operational reports, dashboards and workforce data to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Develop and maintain SOPs, process documentation, and knowledge articles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4-7 years of experience in HR Operations/HR Shared Services, preferably within a pharmaceutical, GCC or other highly regulated industry.
- Strong hands-on experience with leading HR and case management platforms (Workday, SAP and ServiceNow).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel including data analysis and validation.
- Excellent communication Skills and ability to manage stakeholder interactions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed organization and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Deep understanding of Operational Metrics (SLA, KPI, quality audits).
