What You'll Do
In this role in the Enterprise Architecture Technology Strategy organization, you will be responsible for defining, evolving and communicating the strategy and vision for the Citizen Development program working with data scientists, cyber security and risk to introduce initiatives like Low-Code/No-Code platforms, Digital Process Automation, and AI capabilities. You will have a deep technical mindset, be a leader that can evaluate business requirements, emerging technologies to form a complete strategy, reference/solution architectures, as well as a governance model. You will be leading a small group of high performing Product Area Architects.
As an enterprise architect, you'll work to ensure architecture cohesiveness and drive alignment to both business and technology objectives for initiatives that span multiple product areas and/or LOBs. You'll have a broad view of products, technologies, processes, and data and how they should work together to deliver business value. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.
How You'll Do It
- Partners with business and IT leadership along with product area architects regularly understand key business initiatives to ensure product area target architectures are aligned with enterprise architecture and industry strategies
- Provides insights and recommendations to Executive Committee on strategic architectural opportunities
- Consult on candidate architectures produced by product areas. Assists and guides product areas through the governance process
- Leads and/or contributes to architectures that span across product areas and/or LOBs
- Ensures other Enterprise Architects, Domain Architects, and Infrastructure Architects are engaged and strategies are incorporated into target product area architectures
- Provides conduit for feedback loop between technology enablers (e.g., EAIS, Security, Data) and Value Streams
- Promotes consistent architecture practices across the architecture community. Stays current with industry architectures and best practices and influence enterprise technology strategy and initiatives
Qualifications You'll Need
The Basics
- Bachelors - Computer Science or related
- 10+ Years - Software Development, Software Engineering, Technical Architecture or Related
- Internal applicants only: technical proficiency rating of expert on the Dreyfus architecture scale

Bonus Points If You Have
- 10+ years of IT experience with solutions architectures, including Cloud, Digital Transformation, Machine Learning and Big Data
- 5+ years of experience in Cloud solutions (IaaS/PaaS/Big Data and Analytics) Strategy and Implementation
- Experience designing and implementing highly available, scalable and high-performance distributed systems.
- Experience with Generative AI, including exposure to foundational models, prompt engineering, tuning.
- Understanding of model lifecycle management, including development, deployment, observation and governance
- Familiarity with Generative AI technologies like Watsonx, Sagemaker, Bedrock, Vertex AI, ChatGPT, PaLM, CoPilot
- Knowledge of NLP and Chatbot technology use cases or projects
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Keep up to date with new technology trends and innovations.

Compensation:
The base pay for this position generally ranges between $171,000.00 to $235,800.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
