As Expert for cost engineering, you play a crucial role in developing and improving the base foundations and capabilities of A2MAC1’s Cost and Sustainability suite (CSS), and A2MAC1’s costing and consulting teams to deliver additional value to customers.
You collaborate closely with product owners, software engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of calculation modules and contribute essentially to the overall success of the CSS product.
This position could be based in Boulogne or Munich
Tasks & Responsabilities :
- Design, develop, and implement technology modules for the sustainability and cost calculation tool, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance (e.g. Stamping, Die Casting, Forging, …).
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.
- Work closely with software engineers to integrate modules into CSS and troubleshoot any integration issues that arise.
- Stay on top of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and incorporate them into the development process as appropriate.
- Enable A2MAC1’s cost engineering and consulting teams using developed tools and modules to enhance quality and efficiency of deliveries
- Document modules and technical specifications and provide support and guidance to other team members as needed.
- Support data quality processes with input and requirements (e.g., material data alignment).
- Clear communication and decision-making process with stakeholders and team members regarding priorities and timelines.
- Supporting the regular update of base databases in CSS, including Machines & Materials.
PROFILE REQUIRED
Professional Background
• Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar
• Profound Experience (3+ years) in cost/CO2 analysis, tool development, benchmarking and vehicle analysis
• Deep knowledge of manufacturing technologies (e.g. die casting, stamping, injection molding)
• Base understanding of data governance and data management practices
