Job Scope:

A Logistics Expert in contract logistics manages, optimizes, and executes end-to-end supply chain solutions related to 3rd party warehousing operations.

This role focuses on high-touch, customized services such as dedicated warehousing, specialized transportation, and value-added services (e.g., labeling, kitting). This role represents a bridge between the company and the 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) provider, ensuring state-of-art process setup, as well a fulfilment of contractual KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) regarding costs & quality.

Key Responsibilities:

· Contract Management & Compliance: Ensure all operational activities strictly comply with company´s targets and requirements, SLA (Service Level Agreements) between the company and 3PL, and regulatory requirements;

· Operational Optimization: Identify areas and analyse data (e.g., in SAP, Oracle, WMS/TMS) to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvements, design, implement and streamline processes (incl. value added services) to optimize the operations, improve warehouse efficiency, reduce transportation costs;

· Inbound/Outbound Coordination: Manage the internal departments and 3PL to secure proper and good-quality flow of materials from suppliers to the warehouse and finished goods to the final destination, handling complex logistics projects and urgent, non-standard requests;

· Inventory & Warehouse Management: Oversee inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and storage optimization within dedicated 3PL facilities, ensuring high-stock availability;

· Financial & Budgetary Control: Monitor operational costs, manage budgets, verify carrier/3PL invoices, and drive initiatives for cost savings (e.g., reducing demurrage or wait times).

Requirements & Qualifications:

· Experience: 3–7+ years in logistics, with significant experience in 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) or contract management;

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or Engineering;

· Technical Skills: Proficiency in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), TMS (Transportation Management Systems), and ERP systems (e.g., SAP);

· Key Skills: Strong analytical capabilities, negotiation skills, ability to work under pressure, and advanced Excel skills;

· Working area: Hungary or Remote;

· Language: English (high level), German an advantage.
