Experiential Marketing Specialist

Robinson Helicopter Company, the world’s leading manufacturer of civil helicopters, is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Experiential Marketing Specialist to craft and execute impactful experiences that elevate our brand presence at global events. This pivotal role involves comprehensive ongoing calendar management for over a dozen trade shows annually (some international), product coordination for each show, and the development of compelling experience marketing strategies to engage diverse audiences. You will work in close collaboration with our Trade Show Agency as well as our internal Digital Marketing, Public Relations and Social Media team members to ensure seamless cross-departmental alignment.

The ideal candidate will roll up their sleeves and learn in a fast-paced environment, be able to problem-solve through ambiguity, manage multiple projects, agencies, and vendors simultaneously. The candidate will use marketing and brand strategy as a platform for decision-making, leading to measurable outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

Strategic Strategy & Planning

  • Global Calendar Management: Orchestrate the annual international trade show circuit (12+ events), optimizing resource allocation and milestone execution
  • Strategic Alignment: Partner with agencies to design experiential strategies that directly advance Robinson Helicopter’s sales objectives and increase market share
  • Integrated Communications: Synchronize pre-, at-, and post-show campaigns with PR and Social teams to amplify brand reach and Share of Voice
  • Brand Integrity: Direct all experiential initiatives to ensure absolute brand cohesion and messaging consistency across every touchpoint
  • Collateral & Brand Assets: Oversee the curation, procurement, and logistical management of promotional items to maximize brand resonance

Logistics & Operational Excellence

  • End-to-End Activation Management: Lead the comprehensive lifecycle of each event, from initial concept through teardown, with a focus on mission-critical logistics:
    • Precision Logistics: Oversee high-stakes aircraft load-in and load-out procedures, ensuring the safe transport, positioning, and security of multimillion-dollar assets
    • Regulatory Compliance: Manage all event-specific insurance requirements, liability waivers, and safety protocols in accordance with venue and aviation standards
    • Strategic Staffing: Architect and effectively manage staff planning and registration for each show, coordinating dealer, specialized engineering teams and sales support as necessary
    • On-Site Collaboration with Agency: Act as a primary and/or secondary point of contact for exhibit companies and trade organizations, troubleshooting structural or logistical issues

Analysis & Financial Stewardship

  • Data-Driven Optimization: Define and monitor KPIs to quantify ROI and leverage post-event analytics to refine future strategic investments
  • Budget Oversight: Manage comprehensive event budgets with a focus on cost-efficiency and high-impact resource utilization
Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:
 

Strategic Experience

  • Educational Foundation: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Industry Tenure: 4+ years of proven success managing large-scale corporate trade shows and/or high-impact experiential activations, whether agency-side or in-house
    • Prior experience within the transportation sector and a track record of direct, successful collaboration with convention exhibit houses is highly preferred
  • Market Impact: A deep understanding of experiential marketing frameworks used to amplify Share of Voice (SoV), elevate brand positioning, and convert engagement into measurable sales growth

Project Leadership & Execution

  • Meticulous Planning: Exceptional organizational and project management skills with an uncompromising attention to detail in every phase of event lifecycle management
  • Operational Agility: Demonstrated ability to orchestrate multiple high-stakes projects simultaneously, maintaining composure and precision under tight deadlines
  • Financial & Analytical Acumen: Experience managing complex budgets and a data-driven approach to tracking Event KPIs to prove ROI and inform future strategy

Collaboration & Soft Skills

  • High-Level Communication: Professional interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate diverse stakeholder groups and present strategic concepts clearly
  • Radical Collaboration: A team-first mentality with the ability to work cross-functionally to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

Logistics & Flexibility

  • Commitment to Excellence: Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends, to provide premium on-site support for RHC events
  • Global Mobility: Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally to oversee event execution and brand representation
  • Travel Requirement: Anticipated travel of 25–30%.

Physical Demands:

  • Prolonged periods are spent sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Prolonged periods standing and walking at trades shows and events
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times

Work Contacts:

This position is in contact with manufacturing personnel, quality assurance, purchasing, facilities and equipment maintenance, sales, finance, human resources and administrative personnel.
