This role will own the design and delivery of premier experiences such as First American’s annual award trip for top performers, high profile conferences, high-profile client-facing business events, and multiple sponsored and hosted golf tournaments.
You’ll develop and execute our national and regional event strategy, manage partnerships, and make sure every brand touchpoint—from major events and trade shows to intimate local community moments—feels inspiring, consistent, and uniquely First American. What You'll Do:
Events & Brand Activations
- Lead the strategic planning, production, and execution of annual corporate events.
- Collaborate with product, retail, and sales teams to ensure event alignment with launch schedules and regional sales priorities.
- Oversee logistics, customer experience, staffing, and on-site execution with an eye for operational excellence and brand consistency.
- Develop measurement and ROI frameworks and pitch future business cases for expanding experiential marketing to key growth markets - tracking market share increases and optimizing future experiences.
- Own pre-, during-, and post-event customer journey strategy to increase impact and data capture.
- Explore emerging experiential trends and technologies to keep brand activations fresh and high-impact.
Cross-functional Collaboration & Budget Management
- Serve as the internal expert on best practices in experiential brand marketing, a new marketing channel for First American.
- Partner with Creative, Digital, Product, Demo, and Retail Marketing teams to align experiential activations with brand storytelling and key metrics.
- Develop toolkits and seasonal activation campaigns to empower local operations to champion the brand.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for event production, staffing, and logistics services.
- Lead the end-to-end planning, management, and execution of flagship corporate and client events
- Partner closely with senior executives, marketing, and communications teams to align event objectives with First American’s brand and strategic goals
- Represent the company with professionalism, integrity, and polish when engaging with executive sponsors, clients, vendors, and property partners
- Conduct frequent site visits and travel with event sponsors and partners to evaluate venues, negotiate contracts, and oversee on-site execution
- Develop, manage, and reconcile complex and large event budgets with precision and transparency, ensuring financial accountability at every step
Key Responsibilities
- Anticipate and mitigate potential challenges with strategic foresight, creative problem-solving, and calm decision-making under pressure
- Provide well-reasoned recommendations while adapting to direction from C-suite and senior leadership with professionalism and flexibility
- Oversee all event logistics, including venue selection, accommodations, transportation, entertainment, branding, and production schedules
- Manage vendor relationships built on trust, collaboration, and mutual respect, aligned with First American’s customer-first ethos
- Evaluate each event’s success through post-event reporting, identifying continuous improvement opportunities
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in corporate, conference, or hospitality event planning—preferably overseeing large-scale or executive-level events
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact confidently with C-suite executives and clients
- Proven experience managing large budgets and detailed financial processes including vendor contracts, invoicing, and expense reconciliation
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, vendors, and partners to deliver on complex, high-visibility projects
- Strong creative thinking, risk mitigation, and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt plans quickly and effectively
- Polished and professional presence; comfortable representing First American in high-profile settings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management tools (e.g., Cvent, Asana, or similar)
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently for site visits and on-site execution
