We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Team as the Experiential Learning Coordinator. The Coordinator will use career-related strategies to provide career advising and access to experiential learning opportunities. The Coordinator will create successful engagement for enrolled students. The position reports to the Director of the Benedict College Career Pathways Initiative and Service-Learning Program.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Develop relationships and partnerships with businesses, community partners, alumni and other key stakeholders who can provide experiential learning opportunities for students
- Assist with the development of programs, events, and service projects that connect students with businesses, community partners, alumni, and other key stakeholders
- Increase professional development opportunities as it relates to career pathways and service-learning among faculty and staff by providing experiential learning activities and interactive workshops on and off-campus
- Coordinate and maintain documentation of experiential learning participation in identified databases
- Organize and facilitate training, oversight, and implementation of program software to include Purple Briefcase, StandOut, and related tools
- Collaborate with Academic Administrators and Academic Faculty/Staff to initiate experiential learning programming
- Master’s degree with a minimum of five years professional experience in higher education
- Previous experience in career services, employer relations, human resources or staffing and recruitment preferred
- Knowledge of and experience with academic programming and experiential learning
- Detailed oriented with excellent organizational skills and the ability to analyze, prioritize, and problem solve
- Proficiency in MS Office products (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word) with the ability to create reports and maintain databases
- Evidence of ability to work effectively with internal and external constituents
- Ability to present information using excellent written and oral communication skills

- Must possess a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation
- Overnight and international travel required
