About the Role

Roca Alliances is seeking an Experienced Zoho One Developer to design, develop, integrate, and continuously improve solutions across our Zoho One environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Deluge scripting for **Zoho CRM, ****Zoho Creator, **workflow automation, data management, and API integrations, as well as practical knowledge of other applications within the Zoho One ecosystem.

This position will collaborate closely with Operations, Recruitment, Finance, IT, and company leadership to translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and efficient technical solutions. The selected candidate will take ownership of projects throughout the complete development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and solution design to deployment, documentation, and ongoing support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain custom solutions across the Zoho One ecosystem.
  
• Develop advanced business logic, custom functions, scheduled processes, and automation using Zoho Deluge.
  
• Build and customize applications, forms, workflows, approvals, reports, dashboards, and data models in Zoho Creator.
  
• Configure and enhance modules, layouts, fields, Blueprints, validation rules, workflows, and custom functions in Zoho CRM.
  
• Customize and integrate Zoho applications such as Zoho Analytics, Zoho Books, Zoho Recruit, Zoho People, Zoho Flow, Zoho Desk, and Zoho Projects.
  
• Integrate Zoho applications with external platforms using REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, webhooks, connections, and JSON-based data exchanges.
  
• Build bidirectional integrations and automated data synchronization processes between Zoho applications and third-party systems.
  
• Gather and analyze business requirements and convert them into technical specifications, system configurations, and scalable solutions.
  
• Evaluate existing operational processes and recommend opportunities for automation, standardization, and optimization.
  
• Perform data migrations, field mapping, data cleansing, validation, reconciliation, and system consolidation activities.
  
• Troubleshoot production incidents, API failures, automation errors, data inconsistencies, permission issues, and performance bottlenecks.
  
• Implement and maintain user roles, profiles, permissions, access controls, and appropriate data-security practices.
  
• Apply structured testing, quality assurance, user acceptance testing, release management, and production deployment procedures.
  
• Maintain technical documentation for system configurations, integrations, workflows, scripts, dependencies, and deployment processes.
  
• Use version-control and change-management practices to maintain traceability and reduce deployment risks.
  
• Provide technical support and guidance to Zoho administrators, internal users, and business stakeholders.
  
• Communicate directly with English-speaking stakeholders to gather requirements, explain technical solutions, present recommendations, and provide project updates.
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  
• Between 3 and 5 years of hands-on experience developing, customizing, or implementing Zoho solutions in corporate environments.
  
• Advanced proficiency in Zoho Deluge scripting, including custom functions, automation, data manipulation, error handling, and API calls.
  
• Strong experience with Zoho Creator and Zoho CRM customization and development.
  
• Hands-on experience with additional Zoho applications such as Zoho Analytics, Zoho Books, Zoho Recruit, Zoho People, Zoho Flow, Zoho Desk, or Zoho Projects.
  
• Demonstrated experience developing workflows, Blueprints, approval processes, scheduled functions, reports, dashboards, and business automation.
  
• Practical experience integrating applications through REST APIs, OAuth 2.0, webhooks, connections, and JSON.
  
• Development experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL, as well as familiarity with at least one backend technology such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
  
• Understanding of relational data models, system architecture, field mapping, data validation, and application integration patterns.
  
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical specifications and scalable system solutions.
  
• Experience conducting data migrations, system testing, debugging, and controlled production deployments.
  
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving capabilities.
  
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and take ownership of technical solutions from requirements through production support.
  
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
  
• English proficiency at B2+ level or higher, with the ability to participate in technical meetings, document solutions, and communicate with international stakeholders.
  
• Availability to work on-site in Medellín, Colombia.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Zoho Creator Associate Developer, Zoho Creator Professional Developer, or another relevant Zoho certification.
  
• Experience integrating Zoho with telephony, messaging, accounting, ATS, HRIS, CRM, ERP, or business intelligence platforms.
  
• Experience with Git or another version-control system.
  
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle, DevOps, release management, and quality assurance practices.
  
• Experience working with multinational organizations or distributed technical teams.
  
• Previous exposure to recruitment, staffing, finance, human resources, sales operations, or business process automation.
  
• Experience providing technical mentoring or guidance to administrators, junior developers, or business users.
