SCHEDULE
Full Time
To be effective, an individual must be able to perform each job duty successfully.
- Conducts all preliminary project evaluation meetings with MACU project sponsors to discover, document and track tasks related to projects.
- Serves as point of contact for MACU stakeholders during the project.
- Consults with IT resources to capture project tasks and creates detailed task oriented and milestone driven project plans tracking progress of all tasks within the plans.
- Architects project plans showing stakeholders, deliverables, milestones, and dependencies.
- Assesses projects to determine which areas of the IS/IT departments are needed and brings all parties into the planning process.
- Reports ongoing status of projects.
- Composes and maintains physical and logical diagrams to document MACU systems and networks.
- Adheres to industry best practice standards for project management.
- Develops and nurtures strong collaborative working relationships with MACU project sponsors and IT personnel.
- Organizes and conducts change approval board meetings. Ensures all approved changes are documented properly.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

Experience
Five to eight years of similar or related experience within a financial institution. Must have operational experience, preferable in a credit union, to evaluate the project’s potential success from a business and systems standpoint. Must have project management experience in an IT related field.
Education
Equivalent to a college degree and a professional certificate or a graduate degree
Managerial Responsibility
No direct reports
Licenses, Certificates, Registrations
Must hold the PMP (Project Management Professional) certification from PMI
Computer/Office Equipment Skills
Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel and Microsoft Project. Advanced skills in MS Project, AtTask Smartsheet, Jira, ADO or other project management tools. Intermediate skills in Visio or other diagramming software.
Other Skills and Abilities
Organizational Abilities, Attention to detail, Self Motivated, excellent follow through abilities. Requires a considerable amount of analysis to develop new solutions for identified, but complex, problems. Information to solve the problems comes from a variety of sources and may not be readily available.
PHYSICAL ABILITIES / WORKING CONDITIONS
Physical Demands
Ability to sit talk, and hear consistently. Ability to use hands to handle or reach occasionally and use a computer keyboard.

Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less), Distant vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more)

Ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally

There are no unusual environmental factors (typical office environment)
